Parenting the
Love and Logic Way

This is a 6-week program beginning Thursday, September 21 and continuing through October 26, 2017. Weekly sessions will be held at: First Baptist Church At The Villages, in Fellowship Hall, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

WHAT IS LOVE AND LOGIC?

The program is designed for parents with school-aged children - kindergarten through high school.

It is a balance of love, mutual respect, limits and accountability designed to help kids become happy, self-controlled adults.

The "Love" in Love and Logic means that we love our kids so much that we are willing to set and enforce limits. This love also means that we do so with sincere compassion and empathy.

The "Logic" in Love and Logic happens when we allow children to make decisions, make affordable mistakes, and experience the natural and logical consequences. When we balance this with sincere empathy, they develop the following logic:

"The quality of my life depends on the quality of my choices."

Registration Details:

Cost: $15 for a single, $20 for a couple.

Beginning July 3, you may register:
  • Online, by clicking here.
  • By calling the church office at 352.205.7114. (Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30am until 4:30pm.)

Note: Registering for the class online is similar to purchasing a ticket for a concert. Your order will generate an email that will have your ticket attached. The ticket will serve as your confirmation that you have registered. When the charge appears on your credit car, it will say "Vendini" which is the online service the church uses.
